1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how iAd Properties ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies on our website www.iadproperties.co.zw (the "Platform"). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit a website. They help websites work properly and remember things like whether you are logged in.
3. The Cookies We Use
We only use essential cookies — the ones the Platform needs to work. We do not use advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics or similar tools.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in as you move between pages | Until you log out or close the browser (about 2 hours of inactivity) |
| Security token (XSRF) | Protects your forms and account against attacks from other websites | Same as the session |
| "Remember me" | Keeps you logged in on this device, only if you tick "Remember me" | Until you log out |
Your browser also remembers (in its local storage, not a cookie) that you closed our cookie notice, so it isn't shown again.
4. Other Services on Our Pages
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering used on the site.
- OpenStreetMap supplies the maps, the positions of towns and suburbs, and the "What's nearby" places (only when you tap that button).
- Paynow handles payments on its own pages when you pay.
- Google is used only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
These services receive your IP address when your browser loads their content; they have their own privacy policies.
5. How You Can Control Cookies
Because we only use essential cookies, there are no optional cookies to switch on or off. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (look in your browser's Help menu for "cookies"), but you won't be able to log in without them.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
If we ever add other kinds of cookies (for example to measure how the site is used), we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
